JALAPENO CORN BREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 lg. onion
2 beaten eggs
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese or Velveeta cheese
6 slices cooked bacon
Bacon drippings
1 sm. can cream style corn
5 lg. jalapeno peppers (El Paso)
1 tsp. salt
Garlic powder (optional)

Mix ingredients together. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
