CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS | |
1 c. sugar 1/4 c. butter 1 c. light corn syrup 1 c. peanut butter 6 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. chocolate morsels 1 c. butterscotch morsels Combine first 3 ingredients in 3 quart sauce pan and cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently until mixture boils. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Mix well. Add 6 cups Rice Krispies. Stir well. Press lightly the mixture into 13 x 9 inch pan. Melt morsels together over hot, not boiling water, stirring until well blended. Remove from heat, spread evenly over Rice Krispie mixture. Cool, then cut into squares. |
