CREME DE MENTHE SQUARES 
LAYER 1:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate

LAYER 2:

1/2 c. butter
3 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. creme de menthe

LAYER 3:

6 tbsp. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Layer 1: Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in vanilla and chocolate syrup. Spread in 9x13 inch pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool.

Layer 2: Cream butter until soft and fluffy; beat in powdered sugar and creme de menthe. Spread over baked brownies.

Layer 3: Melt butter and chips, mix well and pour over layer two. Refrigerate to set.
