BUTTER ALMOND COOKIE 
1 lb. butter
1 c. sugar

Cream well until fluffy.

Add:

1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
2/3 c. med. ground almonds

Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Press down with a fork which has been dipped in flour.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 325 degrees. Watch carefully as the cookies brown quickly. Remove carefully from cookie sheet, and dust with powdered sugar.
