SOURDOUGH PANCAKES 
1 c. potato starter
1 c. whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten with 2/3 c. milk

Combine potato starter, flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, oil, egg and milk. Let rest in a warm place 15 minutes or until bubbly. Ladle onto greased griddle and cook on both sides until lightly browned. Makes 1 dozen 4-inch pancakes.
