2 sticks butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. (2 1/4 c.) brown sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans or more, chopped

Grease large cookie sheet. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together 3 times; take out 1 cup of mixture and save for coating nuts. Melt butter and brown sugar in large pan. Add beaten eggs. Mix well. Sift cup of flour over pecans. Mix all to egg mixture. Pour onto greased large cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until lightly brown.
