JAM PIE 
4 egg yolks
1 c. blackberry jam
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. milk
2 heaping tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. spice

Beat egg yolks and add the other ingredients. Pour into an uncooked pie crust. Cook at 375 degrees until done. Beat egg whites with 8 tablespoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar. Cover pies with meringue and brown in a 300 to 320 degree oven until brown.
