RING OF COCONUT CAKE 
Mix together:

2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
2 eggs

Add to mixture:

3 c. self rising flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. warm water
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

FILLING:

Mix together before mixing batter:

1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (soft)
1 c. milk chocolate pieces or semi sweet
1 c. coconut
1 egg

Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Put 1/2 of batter in pan. Add filling. Put remainder of batter on top of filling. Let cool and remove from pan. Add icing.

ICING:

1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3 to 6 tbsp. hot water

Sprinkle cake with coconut
