REAL VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 head diced cabbage
3 med. diced potatoes
2 med. diced onions
2 cloves garlic
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
Red pepper to taste
1 can peas
1 pt. canned tomatoes
1 can tomato puree
1/2 gal. water

Make ground beef into small balls, seasoned with salt and pepper. Place beef balls in bottom of kettle. Add above ingredients and water. Cook slowly for about 45 minutes. Makes about 8 servings.
