TACO SALAD | |
1 head lettuce, chilled and cut in bite size pieces 1 lb. ground beef 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/8 tsp. cayenne 4 drops Tabasco 2/3 c. water 1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans, drained 4 tomatoes, cut in wedges 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 c. chopped onion 1 avocado, cut up 1 pkg. nacho cheese Doritos, broken in sm. pieces Brown ground beef and drain fat; add seasoned salt, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, cayenne, Tabasco, and water. Heat to boiling; simmer uncovered for 15 minutes poking once. Cool 10 minutes. Or instead you may use 12 envelope taco seasonings. Preparing as directions and cool 10 minutes. Combine rest of ingredients adding meat, chips, and dressing last. Serve immediately. DRESSING: 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. chili sauce Pickle relish to taste Mix together. |
