FISH PARMESAN | |
1 1/2 lb. fish fillets (thick) as haddock, sole, flounder 1 egg, beaten Wheat germ Salt & pepper Oil, garlic & oregano Munster or Mozzarella cheese, sliced, 1 per fillet Sm. can tomato sauce Dip fillet in beaten egg, then seasoned wheat germ. Oil a foil lined cookie sheet and lay out breaded fillets. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes; turn and bake other side. (The bottom side browns.) Remove from oven, place sliced cheese on each fillet. Place 1 tablespoon tomato sauce on each fillet and sprinkle with garlic and oregano. Place in broiler until it bubbles. Serves 6 at approximately 171 calories. |
