1 c. sugar 1 c. light corn syrup 1 c. peanut butter 6 c. rice krispies 1 c. chocolate chips 1 c. butterscotch chips Mix sugar and corn syrup in 3 qt. pan. Cook over moderate heat until mixture begins to bubble. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and rice krispies. Press into buttered 13x9 in. pan and let harden. Mix chocolate and butterscotch chips in top of double boiler until melted, stirring to blend. Spread over cereal mixture. Chill and then cut into square bars. |
