1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. white sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. milk or juice (apple, orange, etc.)
1 to 2 apples, peeled and finely chopped
1 c. raisins

NOTE: 1 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice can be substituted instead of cinnamon and nutmeg.

In large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add egg, beat well. Blend remaining ingredients. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. These cookies freeze well! 50-60 cookies.
