CHOCOLATE FROSTING FOR HAND ME
DOWN CHOCOLATE CAKE
 
4 (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1 (1 lb.) powdered sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients gradually. Beat until smooth and thick enough to spread. Make enough to frost two 9 inch cake layers.
