CHEESE VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 c. finely chopped carrots
1 c. finely chopped celery
1 c. thinly sliced green onions
2 c. water
1 med. onion, chopped
3/4 c. butter
1 c. + 2 tbsp. flour
4 c. milk
4 c. chicken broth
1 (16 oz.) jar cheese Whiz
1/8 tsp. pepper
Paprika

Combine carrots, celery, green onions in water. Cook until tender. Set aside.

Saute onion in butter until limp. Stir in flour. Blend well. DO NOT BROWN.

Combine milk and broth to boil. Whisk in onion-flour mixture. Add Cheese Whiz and pepper and salt to taste. Slowly stir in vegetables and water they were cooked in. Bring just to boil. Serve immediately. Add dash of paprika before serving.

Yields 12 servings.
