OVEN BEEF STEW 
3-4 lb. beef stew
Vegetables: carrots, onions, celery, potatoes, etc.
1 lg. can tomatoes, cut up with juice
1/4 c. pearl tapioca

Place all ingredients into roaster. Add bay leaf, garlic salt, salt and pepper to taste. Cook at 250 degrees 5 hours or so or at 350 degrees 3 hours or so. Stir occasionally. Can add 1/4 cup red wine 1/2 hour before serving, if desired. DO NOT BROWN MEAT; just put all in roaster and cook.
