BERTHA'S EASY CHICKEN CACCIATORE 
1 chicken, cut up
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 env. Italian salad dressing mix
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 med. green pepper, sliced
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained

Brown chicken well in oil in large skillet or Dutch oven. Sprinkle salad dressing mix over chicken after it has been drained. Add tomato sauce, pepper and mushrooms. Cover and simmer 25-30 minutes, turning chicken once. Place on a bed of buttered noodles and top with sauce. Makes 4 servings.
