AUNT GINNY'S POTATO SALAD 
3 lb. red potatoes
3-4 slices bacon
1/4 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. onion
3/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: hard boiled eggs

Boil potatoes; cool, then slice. Fry bacon and remove from grease. To the grease add water, vinegar, onions and sugar. Cook until onions are clear. Cool slightly.

Blend mayonnaise and mustard. Add grease mixture slowly to mayonnaise and mustard. Pour blended mixture over potatoes and toss gently. Garnish with eggs, bacon bits, parsley and paprika. Serve room temperature or chilled.
