HERB BUTTER 
1/2 lb. lightly salted butter
1 tbsp. fresh chives or green onion tops
1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp. fresh basil
1 tsp. fresh oregano
1 tsp. fresh thyme
1 tsp. fresh marjoram

Chop herbs very fine with knife or chop in food processor. Combine butter and herbs. Refrigerate until ready to use. Use on fresh, hot vegetables or as a spread on crackers or bread.
