CHEESE - BEEF SPREAD | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, light, fine 1 (8 oz.) sour cream 1/4 tsp. pepper, or a bit less 1 (3 oz.) pkg. chipped or dried beef, cut in tiny pieces 2 tbsp. dehydrated onion 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped Soften cream cheese so it can be mixed with all the other ingredients. Use an electric mixer; blend well. Place in a small baking or serving dish. (Might want to sprinkle the top with a few chopped pecans or almonds.) Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or longer. Serve on party rye or crackers. Can make ahead and freeze. |
