MEAT AND POTATO PIE 
2 pie crusts
1/2 c. milk
1/2 env. onion soup mix
Dash of pepper
Dash of allspice
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen loose-pack hash brown potatoes, thawed
Warmed catsup
2 tbsp. snipped parsley

Combine milk, dry onion soup mix, pepper and allspice. Add beef and mix thoroughly. Lightly pat meat mixture in pie shell. Combine parsley, butter, salt and thawed potatoes. Cover meat with potato mixture. Top with second pie crust. Cut slits for steam to escape. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees until crust is brown, about 1 hour. Serve with warmed catsup. Serves 6.
