SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
MEATBALLS:

1 lb. ground beef
3 tbsp. A-1 sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 med. clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt

Shape into 24 meatballs and brown well in frying pan with 1 tablespoon of oil; drain.

COMBINE:

1 (8 oz.) can chunk pineapple, undrained
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. celery, sliced
3/4 c. beef broth
2 tbsp. A-1 sauce
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Add to meatballs. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of cornstarch in 1 tablespoon of water; stir into meatball mixture. Add 1 cup of sliced green peppers. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
