SPICY CORN ON THE COB | |
1/4 c. butter, melted 1 tsp. chili powder 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 4 ears fresh corn 1-2 quarts water 1 tsp. sugar Combine first 3 ingredients; mix well. Set aside. Remove husks and silks from corn; discard. Combine water and sugar in Dutch oven; bring to a broil. Add corn; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 8 to 1 0 minutes. Drain; brush corn with butter mixture. Yield: 4 servings. |
