1 1/3 sticks butter 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/4 c. sugar 2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. water Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, and water together. Add and mix thoroughly nuts and flour. Form small bits of dough into little balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place on baking sheet and press down with thumb. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not brown. Allow to cool. Fill centers with tinted confectioners' sugar frosting. |
