PAT'S CAESAR SALAD 
Several hours before salad preparation, place 1 clove garlic in 1/3 cup liquid corn oil.

1/3 c. liquid corn oil from which the garlic clove has been removed
1 scant tsp. salt
1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
2 1/2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. Gulden's or other prepared brown mustard
2 anchovy strips, ground to a paste (a must)
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Prepare Romaine lettuce for 4 liberal portions. Have chilled and broken in bowl.

1 egg, coddled
1/4 c. fresh grated Parmesan cheese
Croutons
1/4 c. Greek cheese in brine, optional
