PRUNE CAKE AND FILLING 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
3 eggs (save whites until last)
3 tbsp. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped prunes
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking soda
3 egg whites stiffly beaten, added last

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until done.

FILLING OR TOPPING:

1 egg - slightly beaten
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. prunes, chopped
1 tbsp. butter

Boil until thick.
