1 c. chocolate wafers (without cream)
1/4 c. butter
Mash wafers and mix with melted butter. Spread in square pan and let set in refrigerator. 1 pkg. plain gelatin 1/2 c. water 4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. creme de menthe liquor
In a saucepan, heat gelatin and water for 5 minutes. Add sugar and salt on low heat until dissolved. Take off heat and stir in 1 cup of evaporated milk and creme de menthe.
In a small bowl, chill mixture until firm. When firm, beat mixture on low speed until mixture is broken up. Blend in evaporated milk and on high speed beat until fluffy. Pour mixture into chocolate wafer pan and put in refrigerator until it becomes set.
