SAVORY BEEF AND CABBAGE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 med. onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
4 c. cabbage, coarsely shredded
5 carrots, thinly sliced
1 bouillon cube
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. honey
1 tbsp. herbal or fruit vinegar

Combine beef, onion, and garlic in 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up meat. Turn oven to 350 degrees, and add cabbage and remaining ingredients, tossing well. Cover casserole and bake for 1 hour. Serves 6.
