PRETZEL - GELATIN SALAD 
2 c. pretzels, crushed
3/4 c. butter, melted
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) box Jello (berry)
2 c. boiling water
20 oz. raspberries or strawberries, slightly mashed

Mix pretzels, melted butter, and sugar and pat into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes; cool. Beat cream cheese with sugar. Stir in Cool Whip and spread on cooled pretzel crust. In mixing bowl, blend Jello, boiling water and berries. Let set in refrigerator until it begins to gel. Pour over cheese mixture and refrigerate several hours or overnight.

NOTE: May be used as a dessert as well as a salad.
