GRASSHOPPER PIE | |
1 c. chocolate wafer crumbs 1/4 c. sugar 2 to 3 tbsp. butter, melted 1/4 c. milk 6 1/2 c. marshmallows 1/4 c. green creme de menthe 2 tbsp. white cream de cacao 3 c. whipping cream, whipped For crust: combine chocolate wafer crumbs, sugar, and melted butter, press mixture into bottom and sides of 9 inch pan. For filling: combine milk and marshmallows in top of double boiler. Heat and stir over hot, not boiling water, until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat, cool, stirring every 5 minutes. Combine liqueurs, add to marshmallow mixture, blend well. Fold marshmallow mixture into whipped cream. Chill until mixture mounds. Fill cooled crust, freeze firm for 6 hours or overnight. |
