VEGETABLE - BEEF SOUP | |
1 lb. beef shanks or ground beef 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes 2 sliced carrots 2 sliced stalks of celery 2 diced med. onions 1 med. potato, pared & diced 3 c. water 1 tsp. salt 3 whole peppercorns 3 beef bouillon cubes 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables Combine all ingredients in a crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 12-24 hours, or on high for 4-6 hours. Yield 6 servings. |
