1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
3 med. bananas
1/4 c. maraschino cherries, cut up
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. chocolate chips

Mix together sugar and shortening. Add eggs and mashed bananas. Add flour and soda; mix well. Stir in milk. Add chocolate chips and cherries. Pour into 2 greased bread pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean.
