LINGUINE WITH CLAM SAUCE 
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 c. olive oil
1 tbsp. flour
4 c. (6 1/2 oz. can) chopped clams with liquid
1 1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. linguine, uncooked

Saute garlic in oil in medium saucepan until golden. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients except linguine. Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly until sauce is thickened. Cook linguine according to package; drain. Stir sauce and pour over cooked pasta. Serve with garlic bread and salad. 4 servings.
