PLAY DOUGH 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. baby oil (cooking oil will work)
1 c. water
Food coloring
Flavoring, optional

Put all ingredients in pan and cook over medium heat 1 minute or so, until no longer sticky. Remove from heat and cool. Knead when cool to play dough consistency. Wrap in plastic bag and store in airtight container. Will last a year, kept that way.
