STRAWBERRY FLUFF | |
1 stick butter 1 c. flour (plain) 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 c. chopped nuts Combine all ingredients in baking dish and mix well. Brown in slow oven 350 degrees. Stir occasionally while browning so it will crumble together like cornmeal. Mix: 3/4 c. sugar 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries 1 tsp. lemon juice Beat on high speed until mixture forms a peak (20 minutes). Fold in either 1 cup whipping cream, whipped until stiff or 1 cup prepared topping mix. Put 1/2 of topping on bottom of pan. Spread fluff mixture evenly over topping mixture. Sprinkle remaining topping on fluff mixture; cover and freeze. You may use peaches as well as strawberries. |
