5 lbs. all-purpose flour 2 1/2 c. dry milk solid 3/4 c. double acting baking powder 3 tbsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 2 lbs. vegetable shortening 2 tbsp. cream of tartar Stir baking powder, salt, cream of tartar, dry milk solids, and sugar into unsifted flour. Sift all together. Cut shortening into above mix until it looks like corn meal. Store at room temperature in canister. |
