SOUR CREAM BUNS 
1 c. sour whipping cream
2 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 pkg. yeast
3 c. flour

Heat sour cream to lukewarm. Stir in shortening, sugar, soda, salt, egg and yeast (in warm water). Stir until yeast dissolves. Mix in 3 cups flour. Turn out on a floured board and knead it a little. Cover in a bowl with a damp cloth to tighten, 5 minutes.

Roll dough out to 1/4 inch thickness, 6 x 24 inch rectangle. Spread with 2 tablespoons butter, 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Roll up and cut into slices. Put in pan and raise for 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Frost with glaze of milk, powdered sugar and vanilla.
