HOMEMADE BANANA BREAD 
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 mashed bananas
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla essence

Preheat oven to 200°C (375°C).

Mix the first 4 ingredients into a bowl. Mash bananas into a fairly smooth mix. Add egg and vanilla. Slowly pour the powder mix into the bananas. Mix with a wooden spoon until a fairly smooth, thick batter.

Grease a round 8-inch tray and pour batter into tray. Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes or until a light golden colour.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes and serve!
