AUNT LU'S OLIVE SALAD | |
1 (10 oz.) jar salad olives, rinsed well 1 clove garlic 3 onions, chopped 3 stalks celery (tops too!), chopped fine 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. oregano (or more to taste) Be sure to rinse olives well. Mix all ingredients together. Let stand overnight (do NOT refrigerate). Offers nice flavor accompaniment to potato salad or macaroni salad for your picnic-buffet menu. |
