BUTTER BALLS 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. icing sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. pastry flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Cream butter, icing sugar, and vanilla together. Slowly stir the flour in and mix well. Stir in nuts. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Have oven ready at 400 degrees. Bake for 10 minutes. When cooled, roll in icing sugar.
