1 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour, sifted
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
8 Hershey bars
Approximately 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts

Mix well, spread on cookie sheet (or 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan). Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Directly from oven, place chocolate bars on cookie, let melt and spread. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cool slightly. Cut into bars or squares and refrigerate. When hard, remove from pan.
