CHOW MEIN HOTDISH 
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped onion (1/2 medium onion)
1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1 cup uncooked instant rice (I use Minute)
1 (10 oz.) can cream chicken soup
1 (10 oz.) can cream celery soup
2 cans water (use empty soup can)
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chow mein noodles (La Choy)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Brown hamburger, add onions and mushrooms to browned meat and sauté for a few minutes, until onions are clear. Combine with the rest of the ingredients (except noodles) in a large casserole dish.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes or until bubbly. Top with chow mein noodles, Serve.
