PECAN TASSIES 
CRUST:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 c. plain flour

Cream butter and cream cheese until soft. Stir in flour and chill. Shape into 20 (1") balls. Place in ungreased small muffin tins and shape.

FILLING:

1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix egg, sugar, butter and vanilla; add nuts. Add mixture into unbaked shells. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. A whole pecan or cherry can top each one before baking, if desired. Makes 24 (1 1/2") tassies.
