BAKED SQUASH WITH HONEY AND
BACON
 
Any squash may be used for this recipe. Butternut, Hubbard, Acorn or Bananas.

Cut squash in serving pieces and arrange on baking sheet cut side up in a little water. Spread surface with softened butter, and season with salt and pepper. Brush the sections with honey and sprinkle with raw bacon cut into small pieces. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degree) for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the squash you use, or until tender when tested with a fork.
