BAKED SQUASH WITH HONEY AND BACON | |
Any squash may be used for this recipe. Butternut, Hubbard, Acorn or Bananas. Cut squash in serving pieces and arrange on baking sheet cut side up in a little water. Spread surface with softened butter, and season with salt and pepper. Brush the sections with honey and sprinkle with raw bacon cut into small pieces. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degree) for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the squash you use, or until tender when tested with a fork. |
