ICE CREAM CONE CAKES 
1 (2 layer) cake mix
14 flat bottom cones
White frosting
Food coloring
Shortening
Aluminum foil in strips
9 inch x 9 1/2 inch - 1 strip per cone

Fold foil strips in half widthwise. Grease inside of foil collar. Form collars by wrapping foil tightly around cone by pressing gently along the sides. Use scotch tape to secure. Strips should extend 2 inches above cones. Pour batter to top of cone. Place in muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Remove foil. Tint the icing different colors and frost. Serves 14.
