CHOCOLATE CAKE PUDDING 
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. melted butter, cooled

Topping:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. water or coffee

In a 9-inch square baking pan, sift sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Spread batter in pan. Mix topping sugars and cocoa. Sprinkle over batter. Pour water over all (no need to stir).

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes, until top springs back when lightly touched. This is great to serve for a last minute dessert. It's done in less than an hour and tastes delicious hot or cold.
