FRUIT WITH HONEY SAUCE | |
2 peaches, peeled and cubed 2 c. fresh or canned pineapple chunks 2 pears, peeled, cored, cut into rings 1 c. water or pineapple juice 1/3 c. honey 1 thin lemon slice 1 stick cinnamon 1 banana, sliced lengthwise and in half 2 tbsp. sliced almonds Whipped cream for garnish 4 cherries or grapes Combine all ingredients (except last 4) in small casserole. Cover and cook at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Add banana. Just heat through. Serve fruit warm. Garnish each with almonds, whipped cream and a cherry or grape. Yield 4 servings. |
