2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. nuts
1 pt. marshmallow cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil sugar, water and salt until mixture forms a hard ball in cold water. Place marshmallow cream in mixing bowl and stir in hot syrup mixture until slightly stiff. Fold in nuts and vanilla. Drop from spoon on waxed paper.
