TURNIP CASSEROLE 
Turnip
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Buttered bread crumbs

Peel and boil turnip until soft. Drain and mash; add sugar, butter and 2 beaten eggs. Add 1/2 cup bread crumbs; stir. Top with buttered bread crumbs and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
