BOURBON STREET BREAD PUDDING | |
6 lg. eggs, beaten 6 c. milk 2 c. sugar 10-12 c. (2 inch) cubes of day-old French bread 2 tbsp. pure vanilla extract 2 tbsp. brandy 1 1/2 c. golden raisins Combine all ingredients and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Butter and flour 10 1/2 x 14 1/2 x 2 inch pan. Pour ingredients into pan. Set pan in larger pan, add hot water well up sides. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes, till knife comes out clean. Serve warm with cream. Makes 8-10 servings. |
